CCAP holds Contact Islands 2018

THE Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) will hold its second Contact Islands event, which promotes the large contact center industry, on July 25 and 26 in Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort in Lapu-Lapu City.
Contact Islands will expound on leading the Philippines in delivering a higher level of customer experience and maintaining its competitive advantage.
Contact Islands 2018 topics include focusing on empowered customers, hybrid warforce, jobs of the future as well as new service delivery models.
Jojo Uligan, CCAP president, said agents of the future are able to combine technology with their own skills. They utilize these technologies to increase efficiency on automation. People will be the handling more specific and more complex types of work.
“One role of an agent of the future is to teach artificial intelligence to learn because of the input that goes into the machine,” said Bong Borja, CCAP director.
