Manila, Philippines – Teleperformance Philippines, through its Chief Operating Officer and country head Jose Luis Marquez, has entered into a partnership agreement with the province of Negros Occidental represented by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson on July 27, 2022.
Marquez who met with the governor for a courtesy call at the Provincial Capitol Building signed a memorandum of agreement to strengthen its collaboration with the province through the Negros Occidental Language Information Technology Center (NOLITC).
Through this partnership, Teleperformance will give priority to applicants who are graduates of NOLITC and its associated institutions whose applications will then go through the normal screening and recruitment processes.
TP will also be allowed to participate in all job fairs sponsored by NOLITC and/or its associated academic institutions inside and outside of the campuses. It will also actively work with NOLITC in the conduct of career talks, seminars, workshops, and trainings that will benefit both the students and the training institution. It will also actively participate in the conduct of job fairs, mock interviews, or similar activities as needed by NOLITC.
The governor welcomes this renewed partnership between the province and Teleperformance as it is aligned with the government’s thrust to strengthen the English communications skills of Filipinos.
Marquez is optimistic that through this partnership Teleperformance and the province of Negros Occidental will continue to create meaningful opportunities for the people of Negros.
“We are very thankful to Gov. Lacson and the NOLITC for their continued trust in Teleperformance in the upskilling of their kababayans. We hope to collaborate with more like-minded LGUs and NGOs to create more globally competitive Filipinos and bring them more exciting opportunities closer to home,” shared Marquez.
Witnesses of the MOA signing were Ma. Cristina Orbecido, NOLITC’s school administrator, provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz and Teleperformance Senior Manager for VisMin Marketing Levi Trio.
