TP teammates at the TP float join the Grand Parade of Sinulog Festival 2025.

Teleperformance (TP), the Philippines’ first and most consistently certified Great Place to Work, celebrated the annual Sinulog festival together with an impressive crowd of over 4 million, honoring Cebu’s rich tradition, culture, and the invaluable role of Cebuano employees in the company’s success.

Drawing millions of locals and international tourists annually, Sinulog is one of the grandest and most celebrated festivities that is deeply rooted in the Philippines’ rich faithful traditions. Over the years, TP has consistently celebrated the festival through various modes of support and participation via its sites at Insular Life Building, Cebu Business Park and Cebu IT Park.

For the past 20 years, the company has unwaveringly partnered with the local government of Cebu City and strategic partners like the Cebu IT BPM Organization (CIB.O) in spurring growth and development through rewarding career opportunities for people within and outside Cebu.

“Being part of Sinulog is an opportunity to celebrate not only Cebu’s culture but also the people who make it all possible,” said Rahul Jolly, Chief Executive Officer of TP in the Philippines. “The contributions of our employees in Cebu are central to our sustained success in delivering high-touch and high-tech solutions and services for local and global brands. Their dedication, work ethic, and passion for excellence are instrumental in TP’s expanding growth strategy as a global leader in customer experience management.”

Capping off the week-long Sinulog celebration, the TP float joined the 34 official contingents in the 6-km Grand Parade from General Maxilom Avenue going to the Cebu City Sports Complex. TP’s homegrown talents proudly marched with the revelers led by this year’s TP Sinulog king and queen Joshua Lastimosa and Jewel Louie Tolibas, 1st Runner-up Denver Engalia and Kissy Dane Quiros, and Miss TP United Shana Castañeda, highlighting the company’s vibrant culture of diversity and inclusion.

TP further showcased what it means to be the first and most consistently certified Great Place to Work since 2018, through various festival activities. Interactive booths treated guests to an array of fun games, photobooths, and design-it-yourself Sinulog tote bags. The crowd-drawer TP street party featured live performances by Cebuano band Artpression and DJ Stephen William, sustaining a festive atmosphere and exemplifying the joy of the Sinulog festival and the dynamic spirit of TP.

“TP has always held Cebu as one of its strategic hubs in the Philippines. With its highly competitive talent pool and robust infrastructure in place, we continue to deliver consistently world-class services to our clients and customers across the globe. Cebuanos have been pivotal in our growth, and we are always excited to celebrate Sinulog with them,” said Chief People Officer Jeffrey Johnson.

The company continues to be a significant force of growth, not just in Cebu, but across Visayas and Mindanao, being consistently recognized as Top Employer, Top IT-BPM Company, and Top Tax Payer by the local government and industry partners.
