TP Bacolod ushers Lunar New Year at Bacolaodiat Festival

TP Bacolod went all out to celebrate the recent Lunar New Year during the Bacolaodiat Festival. Guests were treated to fortune reading and prizes at the TP experience booth.

Teleperformance (TP) Bacolod joined the celebration of the Bacolaodiat Festival in Bacolod City, welcoming a prosperous Lunar New Year along with the local Filipino-Chinese communities in the region.

TP participated in the 3-day celebration held at the historic Lacson Street with a fun and festive booth set up. Visitors experienced the energy of the Lunar New Year with treats, interactive games, cultural displays, and a glimpse into the fun, inclusive culture that makes TP a Great Place to Work.

Guests tried out a variety of activities, including “Spin the Wheel for Fortune” and “Scan a Lucky Ang Pao,” showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Lunar New Year celebration. Individuals in traditional costumes and cosplayers also added to the festive ambiance.

Bacolaodiat 2025 ushered in the Year of the Snake, a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and renewal, also associated with good luck, prosperity, fertility, and longevity. The festival’s name combines “Baco” for Bacolod and “Lao Diat,” a Fujian word for celebration, highlighting the strong connection between the city and the local Filipino-Chinese community.

Supporting Bacolod’s Lunar New Year welcome, TP provided a memorable celebration bringing in the festive party vibe with the concert performance of local artists staged in Lacson Street.
