Foundever® champions human-centered hiring at Future Forward Philippines 2026

MANILA, Philippines – June 5, 2026 – Foundever®, the next-generation service leader reinventing customer experience (CX), joined industry leaders at Future Forward Philippines 2026, organized by ET HRWorld South-East Asia. The event brought together more than 200 HR leaders and business executives to discuss the evolving future of work, talent and recruitment.

Representing Foundever, Willy Lim, Vice President for HR, Marketing and Talent Acquisition for the Philippines, China, Malaysia and ANZ, participated in the panel discussion, “The Talent Engine: Rethinking Hiring in a High-Volume, High-Churn Market.” This marks Lim’s second time joining ETHR Asia as a featured speaker, further reflecting the continued contribution of Foundever to key industry conversations on the future of work and talent transformation. Moderated by Jaquelyn Barrios, Vice President of HR at Genpact, the session explored how organizations can build scalable, future-ready recruitment strategies in increasingly competitive labor markets.

During the discussion, Lim emphasized that sustainable hiring success starts with designing recruitment processes around the needs and expectations of today’s workforce. “When organizations face talent shortages, the instinct is often to look outward for solutions,” said Lim. “But the real opportunity starts by examining whether our hiring systems are designed for today’s workforce and the experience candidates expect.“

Drawing from his experience with Foundever, Lim highlighted how a candidate-centric approach can improve hiring efficiency, support scalability and strengthen long-term retention. He also underscored the importance of balancing technology with human expertise as AI continues to transform recruitment.

Advocating for a “human-in-the-loop” approach, Lim shared that while AI can streamline administrative tasks and generate insights at scale, recruiters remain essential in evaluating qualities such as cultural alignment, critical thinking and long-term potential.
