SITEL® PHILIPPINES HOSTS #SITELLIFE WEEK TO CELEBRATE THE EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE

The global BPO launched #SitelLife as a way for employees to share their stories, purpose and passion
MANILA – September 5, 2021, Sitel Group®, one of the largest global providers of customer experience (CX) products and solutions, launched their annual #SitelLife week last August 23-27, 2021 with an exciting kickoff party that brought together Sitel Group® associates, leaders and celebrities for an exciting online digital showcase that celebrated the Sitel Group employee experience and the official launch of #SitelLife Week 2021.
“We first celebrated #SitelLife Week in 2020,” said Ravi Iyengar, Chief Operating Officer, Sitel Group Asia Pacific. “Through social media, our people shared stories of personal development, career success and social connections amid the pandemic. Since then, we have grown our numbers exponentially. In 2021, we share an even more interesting kaleidoscope of diverse #SitelLife stories and successes.”
#SitelLife showcases the very best of the Sitel Group employee experience. For associates, this means celebrating opportunities to succeed, cultivating an accepting and diverse workplace, enjoying programs that promote a healthy and balanced life, and countless opportunities for growth and career development.
At the digital kickoff event, with 17,000 engaged viewers and over 200,000 online views, Sitel Group highlighted several success stories, photos, and videos of associates from their sites across Metro Manila, Tarlac, Baguio and Palawan. They also touched on the enhancements and pivots Sitel Group has made to improve the employee experience during the global health crisis. These improvements include launching micro work hubs, providing support for remote work, boosting Sitel® Academy’s training and development opportunities, expanding the employee benefits package and creating innovative online activities.
Sitel Group has also bolstered the company’s talent acquisition with digital online recruitment solutions. To showcase their online recruitment tools, an online virtual career fair was held simultaneously with the #SitelLife kickoff event so that interested potential talents could sign up on the spot.
And that wasn’t all. Alongside the plethora of employee testimonials and company milestones, the #SitelLife kick-off party also featured fun singing and dancing performances and raffles for prizes such as gift certificates and a brand new TV. The event highlight was an interview on self-improvement and motivation with special guest Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach, who shared inspirational words with event participants.
“At this point, giving up is not an option even though you feel like you’ve hit a wall,” Wurtzbach shared. “Even if tomorrow is unclear and things are postponed, our essential workers are really important in helping us make it through. If you don’t think you are essential or of value to society, that is not true. You are. Everything happens for a reason. One day we will look back on these days and realize that we made it, despite overwhelming odds.”
As the event wrapped, #SitelLife Week 2021 officially began. Throughout the week, the 20,000-strong Sitel Barkada in the Philippines shared their personal stories of growth, passion, success, friendship, and empowerment. The company made the week-long event even more special by launching the first Sitel anthem, a song celebrating what it means to be part of Sitel Group. Associates shared the anthem throughout the week through creative and fun social media videos.
#SitelLife celebrates the what it means to be a Sitel® Kabarkda.
