Teleperformance Philippines brings joy to Good Samaritan elders
Date:
November 7, 2022
Teleperformance Philippines, through TP Women and Citizen of the World, celebrated Grandparents Day with the seniors of Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the Elderly in Marikina City.
Spearheading the charity event were Senior Director for Communications and Marketing and TP Women Chairperson Marilyn Ventenilla, Senior Director for Operations Erich Ringor, Director for Organizational Development Olive Ybañez, COTW Ambassador Emil Macalinao, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Assistant Manager Vic Buenaventura, and Assistant Manager for Public Relations Jewel Castro.
A total of 32 volunteers from Teleperformance brought in-kind donations to support the essential needs of the elderly. Sacks of rice, adult diapers, laundry detergent, linens, toiletries, and snacks were warmly received by Gerry Batulan, Administrator of Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the Elderly. Volunteers played bingo with the seniors and gave out shirts, bags, face masks, and tumblers as prizes.
The seniors also shared their talents with the team with one elder belting the timely “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and another who enticed volunteers with her rendition of the Original Pilipino Music “Isang Linggong Pag-ibig.”
The residents and staff of the nursing facilities were treated to a day of dancing, entertainment, and a hearty meal served by Teleperformance leaders and volunteers. Special thanks went out to Citizen of the World and TP Women, whose presence and generosity helped make Grandparents Day at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the Elderly truly memorable for the residents there.
