Teleperformance (TP), global leader in business services, has been recognized once again as a key partner in driving Davao’s economic growth, receiving the highest recognitions at the recent 2nd Davao City – IT-BPM Industry Awards.
For the second consecutive year, TP was awarded The Madayaw Award – Best Company to Work For, the highest award given in the Enterprise Category, and The Barani Award for companies who excelled in developing local talents to meet the needs of the industry in Davao City.
As a top-mover of IT-BPM expansion and sustainable growth in the countryside, TP’s long-standing partnership with Davao City spans over a decade through the establishment of its first Mindanao site in 2013. The TP Davao site at the SM City Davao Annex provides job opportunities to local Davaoeños uplifting the economy and livelihood of the regional community.
“We are grateful to our home city of Davao for recognizing TP’s contributions and enabling us to provide more opportunities to our fellow Davaoeños,” said Site Director Michael Angelo Isleta.
Aside from the Davao Region, TP Davao boasts a workforce hailing from other provinces in Mindanao and even from neighboring Visayas. Several thousand-strong Customer Experts power TP Davao’s operations, enabled by TP’s globally awarded Cloud Campus solution to deliver simpler, faster, safer, and more meaningful experiences to people and their favorite brands, anytime, anywhere.
In addition to being recognized as Best Company to Work For, TP was also conferred The Barani Award – Best in Hybrid Work Implementation through its multi-awarded and globally acclaimed Cloud Campus solution.
With the banner “Work Where You Live, Live Where You Love”, TP Cloud Campus was developed in 2019 and became critically instrumental at the height of the global pandemic as TP’s customer experts were also at the frontline of providing essential services, connecting people with businesses, governments, and communities.
As TP’s premier hybrid work solution, TP Cloud Campus is equipped with AI-enhanced productivity tools and integrated with engagement and well-being programs that ensure Work At Home (WAH) employees thrive and succeed.
“Our deployment of Cloud Campus in TP Davao enabled us to provide the necessary tools for our workforce and enabled us to achieve significant revenue growth despite the global economic uncertainty. This perfectly encapsulates our growth framework of employing high-tech, high-touch services to deliver faster, safer, better customer experiences,” Isleta added.
Today, TP continues to leverage its arsenal of high-tech, high-touch, and high-standard solutions in the Philippines, providing tailored opportunities and services for people and client-partners, all the while ensuring sustainability across value chains.
