New BPO tower to rise at Ayala Center

Ayala Land subsidiary, Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI) will soon open its newest office tower connected to Ayala Center Cebu, fronting Bohol Avenue right across a transport terminal.
With Cebu’s upgraded status as the seventh top outsourcing destination globally, CHI nears completion of the Ayala Center Cebu Tower, a 19-storey Grade-A building, that will cater to the office space requirements of BPO locators.
The building rises right at the heart of Cebu Business Park, the country’s largest operating Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) accredited IT ecozone. The building’s design is integrated with the region’s premier lifestyle and shopping destination, Ayala Center Cebu.
The Ayala Center Cebu Tower is designed as an integrated part of the mall, with its retail and parking podium seamlessly connected to the mall design. Among the shops at the mall ground floor near the building are Family Mart, Dunking Donut and Mercury Drug.
The tower has a total of 19 floors, with 12 floors alotted for office spaces and two floors for retail strips. The eighth floor will also feature a variety of food outlets. There will also be five podiums for parking spaces.
“Ayala Center Cebu Tower is the ideal location for IT and BPO investors looking to locate or expand in Cebu. It is the first of its kind in Cebu to have direct access to a wide variety shops, services and dining outlets,” Jun Bisnar, CHI president said.
TO keep up with the daily traffice of IT and BPO operations, the building will have 10 passenger lifts, two of which having direct access to the podium. The building also features 100 percent power back-up and redundant cable risers which can accommodate up to four telecom providers to ensure uninterrupted connection.
In line with CHI’s sustainability thrust, the building is also equipped with an energy effecient Building Management System (BMS), as well as strategically located building cameras for security. It is conveniently located across Cebu Business Park’s public utility vehicle terminal, for the safet and ease of access of it commuting office workers.
