PLDT ALPHA, The SM Store partner to deploy cashless payments through PayMaya across branches nationwide

Leading ICT and digital services provider PLDT Enterprise—through its corporate business group, PLDT ALPHA—and Voyager Innovations, Inc. enable The SM Store to elevate their customer service delivery by furnishing all 59 nationwide branches with PayMaya’s cashless payment solution.
While digitalization continues to disrupt the retail landscape, SM Store President Chelo Monasterio says that they take pride in their ability to adapt to technology to keep their business at the forefront—with PLDT ALPHA being their most trusted provider.

The cashless payments scheme, which was made available last December, works in partial fulfilment of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ mandate to accelerate financial technology and electronic transactions by 20% in 2020.
