Post graduate in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; B.Tech (Engineering) graduate from the Indian Institute of
Technology, Madras Karthik heads Everest Group’s Global Sourcing and Location Optimization practices and leads a dedicated team of analysts focused on these areas.

Significant experience (100+ projects) supporting leading global companies in optimizing their location, sourcing model, and offshoring strategies. Experience of supporting multiple Fortune 500 companies in their location strategy initiatives across APAC, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, US and Europe.

Extensive experience working with global companies across both parent organizations and GICs; led multiple engagements with captives related to benchmarking, optimization, and growth.

As part of his role, Karthik leads multiple areas of publishing research, including Market VistaTM, CatalystTM (Global In-house Centers focused research), and Locations InsiderTM.

Karthik also leads Everest Group’s work with country associations and has extensive global experience serving governments, industry associations and investment promotion bodies across India, Philippines, South Africa, Mauritius and Egypt.

He is a recognized global expert in the global sourcing space and is a renowned speaker at multiple international conferences (e.g., NASSCOM, CCAP, IBPAP, ABSL in Poland, BPeSA, SSON)
