Richard is currently the Managing Director of Colliers International Philippines and has over 20 years of experience in various real estate markets in Asia. He is leading the company’s client engagement initiatives for the Philippines and is also assisting in marketing, research and consultancy functions. Richard joined Colliers International’s Asia Valuation & Advisory group in Manila in 1996, starting with the Research Division and eventually leading the Philippines’ Research and Advisory services.

Encompassing various sectors, Richard provided professional advice such as highest and best use, feasibility, market analysis, cost benefit analysis and project evaluation. In 2008, Richard joined the regional Valuation and Advisory services of Colliers in Hong Kong where he was involved in various projects in Asia particularly the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. This covered sectors from simple developments to large-scale mixed uses with office, retail, residential, hotel, industrial and institutional land uses.

In his eight-year stint in Hong Kong, he was responsible for the operation and management of the team. With his expertise in consultancy assignments, Richard led and coordinated Colliers’ professional serviced assignments in the Asian region covering all major sectors including residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and leisure.

Richard has a degree in Business Economics from the University of the Philippines. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
